Eaten popcorn. And I worked at a movie theater for three years and we were allowed free popcorn. I have no idea what it tastes like.
Streaked! LOL!
( Something for which I’m certain everyone is very thankful! ) : D
There are plenty of things I haven’t done. It’s the whole “that would surprise my fellow Flutherites” that’s the problem.

I was really surprised @YARNLADY hasn’t made cookies from scratch and that @queenie hasn’t been to the cinema! I will take you @queenie!
I never jumped down a laundry chute from the second floor to the basement.
I too was very surprised to hear that @YARNLADY has never made any cookies from scratch. I know you do cook, but is baking not your thing? (It’s not really my favorite part of cooking, but cookies are probably the item that I learned to cook with, peanut butter and chocolate chip).
And was somewhat concerned that @queenie had never been to the cinema. My dear, do you not like movies? Or is there another reason.
And was curious at to why @ucme has never tasted pizza. Do you not like the ingredients combination or is it that you just live in an area where pizza is not and every day food? Pizza, IMO is one of the wonders of the known world.

@Judi I had a student who, with her sister, did. I was amazed. Like you, I would have wanted to, but wouldn’t dare. I decided she was a bigger risk taker than I ever was and that was part of her personality she could take advantage of when she was choosing an occupation.
I never gambled when I lived in Vegas. ;)
@Kardamom I’m just a bit of a fussy eater, leave it at that.
@ucme Have you ever been to California? We make the best pizza in the world. You can fix it how ever you like. We can make it look like a ploughman’s lunch or a shepherd’s pie if you want. I actually had a scrumptious pizza about a month ago that had mashed potato on it. It was divine!
What do you like to eat? I think I could make you a pizza that you might like : )
@Kardamom Yuck. You guys make pizza with spinach. You need to come to Chicago. :)
I’ve never met any pizza (sans meat of course) that I didn’t like. I love California style with spinach and artichoke hearts and fresh mozzarella, but I also love Chicago deep dish style with fresh garlic and tomatoes and black olives and I love New York style, either just cheese and mozzarella or white pie style. Pizza is just good. I also love pizza made with ketchup and American cheese on an English muffin or a thin crispy pizza made with a tortilla instead of a pizza crust, but I also love really good woodfired artisan pies with wild mushrooms and feta cheese and sliced red bell peppers, or sundried tomatoes with Gruyere cheese and arugula, or a veggie pie with broccoli, kale and portobello mushrooms, or Greek style with kalamata olives and sliced pepperoncinis, or Mexican style with beans, pepper jack and salsa. I’ve also had regular red sauce and mozzarella pizza with fresh salad greens thrown on top after it comes out of the oven, or a whole grain crust with fresh garlic, ricotta and olive oil, without the red sauce, or pizza with green pesto sauce. There’s more to pizza than just plain.
@Kardamom Now that does sound tasty, certainly preferable to the usual tomato mushroom concoctions.
That I went from the age of 30 to 37 on a dating an sex vacation…. and thinking that another is on its way real soon if it hasn’t already started. The first time it was because I was cheated on and didn’t feel I could trust again so I stopped dating for a few months to heal and get my bearings to trust again but then slowly but surely I didn’t even miss it. This time I am just frustrated and need a break from all the mind games men like to play but this time I don’t even know if I will bother to return to dating again. I have my 2 girls and I think I will be perfectly happy with just us.
I don’t like cookies or most sweets, and even though I love to cook, I hardly ever bake.
Sorry, all y’all pizza peeps, but if you’ve never had pizza in Italy, you can’t claim that any pizza is the best in the world! Real Italian pizza made the way it was meant to be – that’s the good stuff!
Thanks, everyone, for your answers. Some really are surprising! I love this thread. Keep it up!
Until the past year, I had never seen Pulp Fiction.
@Kardamom ; I have NEVER been able to find a good Pizza in California.
I never personally met a creationist in real life.
marco polo brought pizza and pasta to italy from china. just sayin’
@Blondesjon – True, but it was the Italians that made it what it is today by adding their marinara sauce
meh. tomatoes are overrated and, from what i hear, deadly poison.
I’ll agree that those little red hot house grown orbs that more closely resemble a plastic ball than vegetable matter that most people buy at the local mega-mart are overrated, but if you have ever had fresh vine ripened home or “real” farm raised tomatoes you would probably change your mind.
@Seelix I didn’t really like the pizza there… One had hot dogs and an egg on it… I did like the crazy foccaccia wonderfulness in Firenze!
I’ve never danced with my husband.
@Sunny2 Now that really is surprising!
I have never been naked. Frill!
I’ve never held hands with my partner in public.
I’ve never met my partner’s parents.
We’ve been together for 10 years.
@queenie You have no idea how satisfying it is, to see Alan Rickman’s (as Severus Snape) hot self up there on the Biiiiiiiiiiiiggggggg screen!
You changed your name! Hello Ms Jailbait… I had to go and check it was you. Deal about going to the cinema. I LOVE going to the cinema. It is one of my favourite things to do. Love films.
I have never had a pedicure or a massage.
@Bellatrix Same here. Never needed to. My feet and hands look fine as they are without spending a fortune on them ;)
@jailbait and @Bellatrix Be happy that you’ve never received a pedicure. I wouldn’t go into one of those shops if you paid me. Read this article from the Los Angeles times that explains why and how some of the pedicure equipment used at spas is not cleaned properly and can lead to infection. Article
I’ve never had a manicure or pedicure done. I don’t understand the point of doing so ..I just don’t get it ..lol.
@PluckyDog I was just thinking the same thing when I noticed this Q in my activity. I realized I didn’t answer this question properly and I was going to say I’ve never had my nails done. hahaI lurve you more and more each day. :D
I have had a manicure, ONCE, a week ago. It was a present. It was nice to have someone else shape my nails but I probably won’t repeat the experience. I did see people having pedicures done and well… it looked a bit EWWW!!
@Bellatrix speaking of ewww and feet, I went to the fair last week and there was a booth selling toe rings. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but it was the unpleasant task of the young ladies running the booth, to actually fit these toe rings onto people’s feet. Can you imagine sitting there all day in a hot tent, helping middle aged women pop off their shoes and socks, then hold their stinky, sweaty feet in your hand while you try to shove a too small ring onto a too fat toe? It reminds me of that poor Prince Charming in Cinderella going all over town trying to shove a tiny glass slipper onto a big giant (smelly) foot.
Unfortunately for the girls running the booth, they don’t end up with Cinderella at the end. They just end up with their own fingernails being filled with toe jam!
Ugh… It was that sort of feeling as I watched this lady having the dead skin sloughed of her feet… all I could think is… what a horrid, horrid job!
Sloughed and Dead should never ever be used in a sentence together! And no one should ever have to have a job where those 2 words are part of their daily routine. I’m shuddering just thinking about it.
Nods! You and me both… I think my face must have been a picture….
I love, love, love pedicures. Ummm. I love the feeling of getting one and the way my toes look so pretty after it is done. My guy has the best hands in the world and knows how to massage my feet and legs just right. Yummie. I have my own private set of tools at the shop where I go.
@PluckyDog and @Blondesjon ; you have no idea what you’re missing out on in a pedicure. I’ve even converted my husband and his macho man best friend.
I’ve never had a manicure or pedicure, either. But I will in a few weeks – my sister is getting married, and it’s a teeny-tiny ceremony with only immediate family invited. There’s no official best man or maid of honour, but I’m the “unofficial” maid of honour so my sister made appointments for us to get our nails and hair done. It’ll be interesting!
I’ve heard Canadians have big feet to cope with the snow. Is that why pedicures are so costly up there?
@Adirondackwannabe – !!! That made me LOL. My feet are a respectable ladies’ 7, thankyouverymuch :P

I learned to drive in my late 20s @Symbeline. I won’t laugh. Do you think you will learn?
I have never been to Scotland.
I’m sure I could but I’m too scared lol.
Ain’t never been to Scotland myself, either. Let’s you and I go there and find Hogwarts! :)
You are on. I am going soon though. Can you pack quickly? Since I made that post, my husband just came in and said .. when we are on our trip, how about we go from xxx to xxx (in Scotland). So I am very excited. I will watch out for Hogwarts! I would love to travel around by train but it is very expensive! Seems cheaper to hire a car.
I have never met @Symbeline but I hope one day I will. She is just wonderful.
Let me get my shoes. XD
Have fun down there, take pictures!
Hope you have a nice time @Bellatrix ! XXX
