What is your list of most garbagy/toxic TV shows?And a list of acceptable ones?

Asked one of the talk shows: “Is it okay to sleep with a guy on the first date?” Do you think Fran Dresher said “If you are your own person, and if you want to, it is okay to sleep with a guy on the first date” or “No, get to know the person first…” I will let you guess.
So, the list of worst 10, or chose your number. Also what shows could you watch with your kids, gramma etc. Shows whose theme doesn’t revolve around sex,
where the women are not showing cleavage and/or wearing underwear as outerwear in public etc. I was asked by someone who wants to hire babysitter, but they don’t want to ban TV.

Your question is worded wrong. You are asking for a list of bad shows, yet then you ask for a lsit of ones that are good to watch.I’d consider rewording it if I were you.

I miss Happy Days and the Sonny and Cher show. I know they could be watched by the whole family as that is what we did.
I have not seen The Jersey Shore, or Pregnant and 16 or something like that – just clips on the various talk shows. My guess is they are as horrible as their 30 second clips were. I cannot think of any redeeming value in them. Actually, though I like some of them (Survivor) I fear they have little to contribute besides time wasters – those Reality shows. Poor, poor generation Z.

Too bad the Happy Days kind aren’t around anymore. But they want a current enough shows. I am thinking Amazing Race, as the better that the rest of the reality shows, but once in a while I see something in it too. Like a team asked the airline staff to tell the next team that there is no internet access in order to slow them down. And the staff did comply. The team should have been kicked out, held back for that as a penalty, but they weren’t I don’t think.
Jersey Shore is the worst show that has ever existed. I’d rather watch scat porn. Any show where dumb elitist rich people sit around complaining about the trivial annoyances in their lives are horrible (sex and the city and the hills, for example) but Jersey Shore is the worst because the morons on that show are physically and mentally repugnant.
@syzygy2600 Yes, that is a disguisting show. I need a list of good ones too. I mentioned Amazing Race, except it could use some improving.
