Anyone know anybody who lives in the Aleutian islands in Alaska?

Fortunately, the warning was quickly lifted. Most of us take tsunami warnings quite seriously after Japan, tho, so would rather have a brief, cautionary warning and nothing happens than no warning and disaster.

So nothing bad happened? I hope?

I haven’t heard of any injuries or real damage so far. I’m a good thousand miles from where the epicenter was, so we didn’t even feel it here. The Anchorage Daily News (adn dot com) is always a good source for all news Alaska.
