What is the wildest or craziest thing you could ever imagine to do?

Asked by Your_Majesty (8238points) June 24th, 2011

Anything. It’s not necessarily has to be done or can be done in your current situation, you only have to imagine it.

Mine is, wearing clothes that make me appear homeless and uneducated then I’ll go sit outside a store in the middle of the city begging for money (I think this is fun since I don’t really care about social status). Robbing a jewelry store is also another wildest idea of mine.

I can’t even bring myself to admitting what I already have done, much less what I would like to.

I dream of parachuting from above 10k meters above ground [ with oxygen mask of course ^^ ].

Getting in a shoot out with a submarine full of Nazis as they sail towards New York with a nuclear device in tow and killing the captain and saving the day just before they reach the harbor.

Rocketing to the moon!

Lick a metal railing in the middle of winter in a town in South Dakota! Mmm-hmmm. Never let it be said that @wundayatta doesn’t like to live large!

Bungie jumping.

I’ll second going into space. Fuck, can you even imagine that? I’ve read that most of the astronauts who went to the moon in….1969? Came back and felt very insignificant and weird and different. Isn’t that insane? I guess it would really put things into perspective even more than you could ever imagine.

Get into an underwater shark cage.

Drive a speed car across the desert.

Retire onto a sailboat.

Confront my neighbors viscous dogs barefooted and in shorts.

@Dutchess_III: You and Rick go to their houses and tell them you’re laying out traps because you’re having issues with bold and vicious Raccoons and worry for your dogs’ health. Ask them to mind their loose dogs as you guys don’t want to feel badly if they come into the yard again and get munched by the traps. This doesn’t mean you have to really lay the traps.

DAMNIT!!!! I spelled vicious wrong AGAIN up there!!

LOL! They’d start a fight with us!

The only thing I haven’t done is sky diving and sex with a man and you can’t get me drunk enough to do either! ;)

Standing on a stage while drunk, stuffing a puppies head up my asshole in an attempt to strangle it with my sphincter before it can chew through my intestines.

(The imagination part of my brain is quite odd)

Being able to fly. I’ve had a lot of practice in my dreams. I can zip along 2 feet above the ground or float and hover as if I’m in water, only I’m not. I think, in my dream, “You see? I really can fly! Then I wake up disappointed again. I teach people in my dreams how to do it. It’s so easy. In my latest flying dream, I was much higher and covering miles at a time. I was flying over small islands in the ocean, close to shore and wished I could land on one of the grassy islets, but I didn’t have time. I just had to imagine how the grass would feel between my toes.

Dutchess_III's avatar

@Sunny2 I flew to the other planets once. Really. That was THE most awesome dream, ever. I started out by flying through the ceiling of my room and out the roof. That was the only dangerous part, because if you lose your confidence in your ability to go through something you can get stuck in the ceiling. Really! It’s true!

Next dream, go to outer space. It is AWESOME!!!

Sunny2's avatar

@Dutchess_III Outer space doesn’t intrigue me that much. I’d rather fly over Iguassu Falls or the Himalayas. But thanks for the suggestion.

Dutchess_III's avatar

You can do that too! The planets are beautiful up close.

Sunny2's avatar

@Dutchess_III They all look like dull brown beaches with light effects being the only thing that is dramatic about them. Well, maybe Saturn’s moons are different.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Not up close they don’t! They’re vividly colored….and I had this dream LONG before Hubble was even invented.

Sunny2's avatar

@Dutchess_III Are you a seeress?

Dutchess_III's avatar

I’m only telling you what I saw. : ) I flew through Saturn’s rings.

(PS….the Hubble pics are actually retouched with the color. The satellite only sends back B&W and shades of grey images of radio waves and energy and heat and stuff that the scientists can read, but we can’t, so they color them for us so we can see what they see in their mind’s eye.)

Sunny2's avatar

Okay. I’ll color it with my mind. I’ll let you know if I make it.

I went up in a hot air balloon a couple years ago at sunrise drinking champagne..Woo Hoo..THAT was wild!
Ascended to about 2000–3000 feet, but, competitive balloonists travel in excess of 10,000 feet!

Otherwise, hmmm….well, I have always wanted to do the Tevis Cup 100 mile endurance race through the Sierras where I live. www.teviscup.org
But, alas, I am horseless now and a have gone rather soft in my middle age, but, there’s still hope! lol

Breaking into Buckingham Palace & humping the Queen left right & centre. Tally-ho!

Your point being?

I hate flying but I can’t help thinking it would be cool to get to ride in something like an F-16 one time, as long as I got my depends on. I think i would be screaming like a bitch the whole time.

To attend a party with strangers all willing to engage in all kinds of consensual sexual activities.
I’ve led such a tame life and I am married and monogamous and would not risk my marriage to engage in such activities.

Still, the idea is as wild and intriguing and potentially stupid as anything I can imagine.

I’m not gonna tell you, no, no, no, no. It’s a secret
