Peter Falk has passed away. I'll always remember him fondly as Columbo - and of course, The Princess Bride. Thoughts?

RIP Peter Falk. It’s such a shame to lose him.
My Mom and I used to watch him on Columbo (I loved his charcater!) Another great one gone. :(
He seemed like a good man with a gentle heart and sense of humour. I will miss him.
I used to do funny little impressions of Columbo when I was at school, RIP Mr. Falk
Oh no. This is one celebrity death that makes me truly unhappy.
Let’s all go watch Princess Bride in memoriam.
“Just one more thing…”
He suffered from advanced dementia (likely Alzheimers) near the end. :( He seemed like a sweet man.
He was very funny in it’s a mad mad mad mad world, and murder by death. Sorry to hear this
I have a raincoat just like Columbo’s.
He had suffered from dementia. I expect that if he could have voted, he would have wanted to go.
As a kid, I only remember him from television as that old, shrunken, hunch-backed detective with a glass eye or something, and wearing a wrinkled white trench coat. I didn’t watch too many of his episodes back then.
You could tell he was a smart guy. I hope his exit was peaceful.
Just like every year, I will be teary eyed once I see his face on the screen along with others who passed away at the Oscar ceremonies. : (
My wife and I were wondering if Colombo was Monk’s father.
No one had the capacity to get under one’s skin like Colombo.
The master of badgering a criminal so much
they’d tell on themselves.
(R.I.P. Peter Falk)
I’m sad too. I’ve seem almost all of his Colombo episodes. Yes, Monk is a worthy successor of the Colombo character.
