Art is one thing that comes from people that’s awesome and positive. It’s where you might be able to see/hear/otherwise perceive some true part of them, their essence. Sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s bad, but it’s a cool human thing.
Entertainment. I don’t know where I’d be without my movies and games. People make those. I wish I could to, some day.
People that persevere. When you hear about the Roma being completely mistreated in some places for example, when their very life is at stake…and yet they fight as much as they can for their rights. Makes me feel pretty small when I bitch about some minor thing.
Anyways, it’s a positive human element…but not when it’s used to hurt others, like the Nazis did in WWII. :/
Small businesses. I really love when I see a used book store called Ladybug Books or a video game store that specializes in rare and old ass games. In MontrĂ©al they have a movie store that sells all b movies. You should see all the stuff in there man, it’s fuckin heaven. These are people that are really into their trade and want to make people discover things, and share heir passion. It’s awesome compared to profit based places like HMV where they only have 573489232 copies of some super new movie for 46 bucks.
Compassion. As all emo as I am, many have shown compassion to me in a lot of parts of my life. It may not solve my problems, but it sure gives you strength when you’re in the pits.
Last but not least, I like hot sexy people.
@Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard I was also expecting a long, carefully composed, contrarian tirade about how irredeemable us evil humans are and how the world would be better if we were to go extinct to show up in this thread and to achieve 25+ lurve.
Aye. That always makes me laugh. People saying shit like that. I think they’re just trying to be cool. I mean if they really felt like that, they’d go kill themselves for the Earth. DESTROY ALL PEOPLE, lookit me I’m so hardup, I’m gonna go piss off a pregnant wolverine.
I’m a pessimist about people too, but I do my best in trying to recognize the good, and it isn’t all that hard, really. Just a lot of bad overshadowing the good.
