Those with laptops who Fluther from various locations, care to share of photo of your Fluther screen and it's surroundings?
A jelly friend on Facebook brought his laptop to a fancy restaurant and took a shot of Fluther on his laptop (next to a rather large glass of wine). It was a cool pic. :)
Be it at school, at work, at a bar, coffee shop, restaurant, or in your backyard.. take a photo and post it. :)

I’m going out of town next week and if I remember I will post a pic of my laptop and it’s beautiful surrounds in its, relatively, cheap but clean motel.
99.9% of the time if I’m Fluthering from my laptop…. I’m in bed. I can try to get a pic if I remember, though. Cool idea.

My room is kind of a mess, and it is nighttime, so it is dark in here. That’s a huge freaking TV in the background. My laptop keyboard is broken, so just a plain link.
Now I feel like I should have stuck my foot out, because the positioning of my pic and FPCB’s are really similar. haha.
Double laptop, all the way!
If I took a picture of my laptop (and desk) at this moment, you would get a glimpse into the clutteriness of my brain. I won’t, though, cause it’s embarrassing.
If I Fluther from anywhere cool, I will try to remember to photograph it.
I’ll send pics by the pool sometime this weekend. Great idea! =)
It’s hard to make out Fluther on the screen because of the bright sun.
I wouldn’t articulate a thing about the foot, the hairy leg, the rumpled, unmade bed, cluttered room, or bad photography.
No, but I would like to bring up the pith helmet hanging on the wall. I’ve often awakened in the middle of the night and wanted to take a pith without having to walk to the bathroom. That would be handy but it would need to be clother to the bed.
That’s not my foot. It’s my penis.
@jonsblond Your corn is looking mighty fine, ours is sad. :-(
@wilma Corn and soybeans are doing really well this year. We’ve received plenty of rain and now very warm temps. Sorry to hear yours isn’t doing well. :(
Kinda cheating, not on my laptop but on my server, amongst the clutter of computer parts and tech babble
@jonsblond I had the same pool till I moved and what a killer setting too!! I bet the stars are blazing tonight!
@Cruiser They are. I just got in from a night time swim. You know how hot it is right now. Laying on the raft looking at the stars was a welcome relief. =)
@jonsblond I used to lay on a queen sized inflatable mattress in the pool with my boys and we would count the number of satellites in the night sky!!!
now that sounds like a good idea @Cruiser!
@jailbait is something wrong with your screen or is it just the camera messing up?
@XOIIO I think it’s the camera.
I think it’s the (likely) fact that you used a shutter speed on the camera that’s faster than the refresh rate of the screen. Take a shot at 1/60 second (or slower) and you’ll probably get a better result. With photos of television screens taken with a fast shutter speed, the result used to be a horizontal black bar, and the shot had to be taken at ⅓0 second or slower to avoid that. I’m pretty sure that the computer screen refreshes quicker than that, though.
Town Dog and I took mine down to the beach. We were enjoying a peaceful interlude when suddenly a sea monster appeared! No worries though, TD took charge and whispered the monster into a calm and submissive state of mind. Here is photographic evidence of the encounter.
I know I’m late to the party, but here is a picture of Magrat Fluthering. Chubby kitty – if she’d get off the computer once in a while maybe she’d be more svelte.
KITTY
Holy shit, I like your lamp!
:D The lamp belonged to my dad a million years ago – I appropriated it when I was 17 or so. No one can remember where it came from!
@rooeytoo Just another day down under, eh? You’re very silly sometimes. :-)
@rooeytoo that looks photoshopped. I can tell by the pixels, and from having seen a few photoshops in my day.
I agree with @Seelix ..that is the most real looking photo I’ve EVER seen!
@Seelix because I can tell by the pixelllllllllsssssssssssssssssssssssssss! And I’ve seen many shops in my day!
@Seelix is right. I read it on the internet.
@ANef_is_Enuf nuh uh! I google image searched for “down under” and it didn’t look any pixelier than where I live!
@rooeytoo Photoshopped? Really? I’m so disappointed, though it does explain why the waves in the picture seem to be breaking in two different directions, flowing at a kind of >30 degree angle near the sea monster’s head. I thought maybe that was some Australian thing, being at the bottom of the planet and being further from the moon and all that. I thought you just had crazy tides down there maybe. :-)
Holy crap, that link is amazing.
@lillycoyote – actually I have seen that happen, there are places here on the mud flats where the tide comes in so quickly, you have to run so as not to get caught and with sand bars and the like it looks as if it is going in different directions! Also in Noosa there is a spot where the river empties into the ocean and there on the river banks the waves rush in parallel. I mean you stand there and watch them rush by. Almost makes you dizzy it is so weird! Things are a little strange down under and that includes me, heheheh!
But I am not kidding, that sea monster was real! and TD did jump on its back and ride it. True story!!!
@rooeytoo O.K. Now I’m thinking you only photoshopped the part with you and your laptop being so close. I bet TD didn’t let you get that close until the monster was calm and it was safe for you and your laptop, monsters, splashing water, all that business.
@lillycoyote – Town Dog always takes good care of me. Here is one of her protecting me from a gigantic killer croc! She is my faithful companion.
@lillycoyote – I see the Delaware Beach book in the background, were you at Rehobeth? One of my favorite spots!
@rooeytoo Yes, that’s exactly where I was, in Rehoboth. That’s pretty good guess. You’ve been there?
Here is where I’m at right now. Heaven :)
@Seelix Love the koozie! It’s so kute; the hockey jersey thing going on; with the little sleeves. I want one.
