It’s five in the morning and I have gotten a total of two hours of sleep. A couple of days ago I accidentally put my foot in an anthill and now my feet and legs are covered in bites. I can’t go to sleep because the bites itch so badly and I need to stop it right now! I slathered hydrocortisone cream on, and I was using AfterBite (which has ammonia) until I completely ran out. The cream is doing absolutely nothing for me and the AfterBite did a little, but I don’t have any more. Please help me! I need something that’s quick and efficient so I can get some rest.

Maybe try icing it to numb the area?

A few drops of Lavender or Tea Tree essentials oil.
I think I heard that if you make a baking soda paste, it could help. Or you could get an emergency prescription for 2% hydrocortisone. I use that on mosquito bites and it really works.
Benadryl Itch Relief Stick.
It’s worth getting up, driving down to the drug store, and buying right now. It really works that well.
Try aspirin or whatever you used for pain. Itch is low grade pain. You might also give your doctor a call. The bites could get infected and he/she may have a better answer than an OTC (over the counter) medication.
Calagel…Calagel Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Relieves Itch and Pain: Poison Oak, Ivy or Sumac. Skin Allergies. Insect Bites, Rashes. Minor Burns. Minor Skin Irritations. Sunburns and more. Amazon has it for a good price.
I use a combination of pain medication, hot shower, and zinc oxide.
Thanks guys! I ended up icing it about every 3 or 4 hours.
Bug itching cream reducer I can’t think of the name but it smells like cat pee and you roll it on it really works
