@KatetheGreat Oh no, I used to be in a pretty good band. I’m more of a bass player, but my guitar skills are not lacking. Sometimes, though, you gotta go back to those roots.
I haven’t played for awhile, but the tunes I enjoyed playing the most were El Condor Pasa by Simon & Garfunkel, and the Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet.
Despite not being a Green Day fan, one of my favorite songs to play on bass is one of theirs. I forget the name. Maybe Longview? Something like that.
Main Man by the Ramones
From Hell they came by the Misfits
She by Green Day
Bob Marley’s Redemption song
Weezer’s Undone
What’s your favorite Kate?
Any doo wop song. Or This Celluloid Dream by AFI.
Korean Bird Paintings by The Mountain Goats.
Or Color in Your Cheeks by The Mountain Goats.
Right now, “Ship Of Fools” by the Grateful Dead. Also, I know it’s out of season, but I always like to play “Autumn Leaves.”
Wish you were here by Pink Floyd. Love to play that tune. Can’t find my way home is a good one to play also.
King Bee with my son’s on bass and drums of course! Rock on!
realistically, I just love messing around with picking and finger picking with chord progressions. But my favourite song to play and sing with is “Hallelujah”
I love playing ‘Chop suey’ by System of a down. Also ‘zombie’ by The Cranberries!
“Funeral Of Hearts” by HIM, and “Come As You Are” by Nirvana
@Ayesha Damn, wish I could play Chop Suey. ;)
@Only138 Easier than you think! Seeing what you can play. Check some tutorials out on youtube if you like.
@Ayesha I will do that. I love System of a Down!
Thanks. ;)
@Only138 Ahh who doesn’t! :)
No problem.
