I don’t. If there are ghosts, it’s probbaly something natural we don’t understand. I’ve heard some messed up theories about ghosts before, which involve the movement of our planet around the sun, condensed types of energy and the like. Like an aftermath of a tragic event, and the memories and stories that spawn from it. Maybe it’s a psychological thing.
It’s really not hard for people to believe in things. I used to think I witnessed at least one haunting once in my life. To this day I still can’t explain it, but I’m sure it has an explanation. But while it was happening, I wasn’t thinking none of that. I also suffer from nocturnal paralysis. When I was living in a rooming house, the guy in the room next to mine ended up committing suicide. I had a bad episode that night, most likely caused by all that day’s stress. I was convinced his ghost was haunting me. I even saw it, through dream/illusion.
Later, I found out what my problem was, by reading shit on a website.
This started when I was about 15, but it was minor and few and far between It intensified in my early 20’s. People back in the day who suffered from nocturnal paralysis used to think that demons and vampires came to torment them in their sleep. Today, a lot of people think it’s aliens. I thought it was a ghost.
Stuff like that tells me we know so little, so I can’t just believe in stuff we make up to explain what we don’t understand, or what frightens us.
I’m not saying ghosts don’t exist, I just don’t believe in them.
Fun stuff about ghosts;
Apparently, ghosts need a source of energy to manifest themselves, such as things like power lines, or big places with a lot of electricity, like a hospital or a school.
Teenagers, with their developing hormones, are a good source of energy that ghosts can use to manifest. They are apparently more likely to see ghosts than anyone else.
Ghosts don’t like being called ghosts. Apparently, to them, it’s like calling a black person the n word.
