I have watched Anthony Bourdain’s show a few years ago and I would go to dinner with him. :)

Anthony Bourdain is great. And yes – I would love his job, although I don’t think my stomach would forgive me.

Not the food shows so much – I have no interest in eating offal, eyeballs, or some of the other disgusting items that seem to be featured. Travel programs, and adventure travel? Oh, yeah.

No…not really. Filming TV shows is exhausting work and doing it on location is even more grueling and I have seen some of the crap they have eaten! Yuck! NO THANKS!

Yes, all except the travel part. Being a devout family man I would have problems being away from home as much as those jobs require.

Some years ago I had fantasies of doing a TV series called “The Wild Gourmet” with the concept of taking wild game from field to table with the end result being worthy of the finest high end eateries. Turns out, the concept was somewhat ahead of it’s time. I notice that there is a similar show on the air today. As a side note, I also found among friends and colleges that while they were rather impressed with my ability to pull off a venison Chetau Brion with a mushroom Bordeaulux sauce in the middle of the woods, they were, quite frankly, more comfortable with chili and beer.
