How close were you with your friends in school ?

Yes. Very close.

I wasn’t very close to the large group of friends I had in high school. I was (and still am) best friends with someone who I dated briefly. We know everything about each other.

I had no friends in school, but I did have several close friends in my church teen group.

I had varying levels of closeness with my friends. I got close to them by spending time with them and going through things with them. unfortunately, the closeness of many of those friendships has lessened over the years.

I had 6 or 7 close friends in high school. During college that dwindled to about 4. I’m still close to them after 30+ years. Same thing for college, though it was 25 years ago.

How did we become close? Shared experience, similar sense of humor, and an abiding sense of “we’re all in this together, so climb on the raft and hang on!”

I had 4 extremely-close friends in high school. Three humans and a walkman.

In grade school we were very close in fact packed like sardines as I was part of the tail end of the baby boom and schools were not equipped to handle the explosion of snot drooling youth that overcrowded the school systems. I still see 20+ of my Fraternity bros on a very regular basis 20+ years later! TOGA! XD

Yes. Some of us are still close. Some of us have drifted over the years.

Not very close to be honest.

Very. I have picked up friends at every stage of the game, school, military, etc. And I have introduced them to each other, and now we are one big gang of idiots.

I had some close friends. People I met when I was in junior school and remained friends with for many years.

We all shared a bed during the school year.

I was very close with a lot of High School friends… some are still my best friends.

Junior high was a bit tough, I did one year in Coronado CA and the next in Dublin Ireland. Doesn’t really make for long-lasting relationships.

I got pretty close to a few girls who were “friends” in high school too… but that’s something else entirely

Extremely close. I am still friends with most of them.

In college very close. We lived in the same dorm, saw each other almost every day the first year.

I had an excellent group of friends when I was in junior and senior high school, but they weren’t really ‘school’ friends. They were neighborhood friends (I attended out of district schools for much of the time). A mix of genders, ages, and ethnicities, and we were basically joined at the hip. I don’t really know how to explain how we got close. We just… clicked.
