I am looking forward to my kids getting out of the house and settled in their lives!
@Cruiser I asked my mother that and she said the same thing!
Settling down, and not with a woman, but not having to move and having a decent job.
Being able to change into a daytime only/no weekends job.
Cruising a little each year with my husband.
Retirement.
Finishing my advancement, finishing my dissertation, maybe some other things if they pan out, too.
Short term-Newport Folk Festival!!!! July 30–31
Long term-getting a new job
Even longer term-having time to paint
Having a job that doesn’t suck.
Everything. Because after that there is nothing
I’d say half of me is looking forward to finding love, the other half says love doesn’t exist and is looking forward to death.
I’m with @Cruiser. Does EBay accept toddlers?
Just anticipating spending as many years with my Vicky as the Lord will give me, and hoping it’s at least ten more. : ))
Looking forward to my kid getting his own home someday if it is all all possible anymore in the US. A 5 or 6 bedroom would be nice.
I’m looking forward to having a family. I can’t wait to take my son to the park!
Finishing college, finding a man I want to spend the rest of my life with, a rockin honeymoon, moving out of my parent’s house, watching my little girl turn into her own little person
I’m looking forward to social security and I hope I can enjoy some of it before it’s no longer available.XD
Taking the kids to the zoo. I’m not looking too far into the future at the moment, and I’m content with that. :)
I’m simple.. I bought a six-pack and decided to keep walking today. I had a blast.
I don’t really look forward to much anymore. Getting the kids each weekend, and several days in between, a trip to San Diego next week, getting out of bed each morning, that’s about it.
Living, loving, learning. Being a human animal.
Getting my kids old enough so that I have some free time. Right now I still have to drive them just about everywhere.
My backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon of the Tuolomne
Captain America next week.
@KatetheGreat We’ve tried to get permits to this for 10 years. Finally got it this year.
A weekend with no work involved :D
@Bellatrix Hahaha, so your boss won’t be yelling at you if you stay on Fluther all day? Yay!
lol yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss. If I didn’t fluther… my wish would probably come true :D
A work free weekend! If I did my work like today instead of talking to jellies!!!
Hitting the road. Kids are old enough that Dad doesn’t need to be around as much. Time for Dad to hit the road.
A quick, hopefully painless death.
Right now…..another cup of coffee.:)
@CaptainHarley I hope that Vicky and you live to >110. Happy, healthy and active all the way!
I’m looking forward to not feeling held back by my health, and to working in a field about which I feel passionate. I hope at least one of these things ever happens.
Right now, Disney World! Rather short-term (this Sunday), but it’s the most exciting thing I can think of at the moment. Quite right, too.
My trip to the UK… oh wait a minute… will there be anything left? I am looking forward to it though .. lots!!!
