Mines dwindling, I am over 50 now, already done a LOT of cool stuff.
I’d like to travel more, but, have traveled a lot already, have gone up in a hot air balloon, have rafted some wild rivers, have ridden horses deep into the mountains, hung over cliffs thousands of feet above the ground, driven speed boats, driven in a Cobra.

Other than more travel I can’t think of much, I’m pretty content these days. :-)

Not a formal one. However, I do have an abundance of things I hope to experience before I kick.

I have a pretty short, informal one. I want to go scuba diving, take classes on glass making and metal working, donate at least enough blood to replenish that which I’ve taken (11 units), and get into outer space, somehow.

I want to go to India.
I’d like to see Jerusalem.
Climb Denali.
Learn a non-Western language.
Run for office.
Learn to sail.
That’s a pretty good start, off the top of my head…

I wanna go to Seattle. Again.

Yes, I do. I want a big red one, a blue one, and one with Spongebob Squarepants to use for washing my car.

I have a modest one with items like finish installing the crown moulding in the bathroom and go skydiving at least once before my legs finally give out. I have also planned to live long enough to be an embarassment to my children. That’s one I can check offl.

I will make an attempt to show you the short list.

Spend a long weekend at the Ahwani hotel in Yosemite.

Tent camp in Yosemite.

Camp in a cabin at Camp Curry at Yosemite.

Ice skate on a frozen pond/lake.

Drive across the country in a fancy motorhome.

Go on a Guy Fieri tour across the country (eating at many of the restaurants that he’s featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives).

Write a book that is well received.

I would love to have my portrait taken with me made up and dressed like This Lady

Learning to make home made pie crust and make a fresh lattice-style boysenberry pie from scratch.

Go to the Clinton library in Arkansas.

Take a trip across Canada in one of those fancy sleeping car trains.

Travel by train all over England.

Listen to bagpipe music on the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland whilst eating shortbread.

Rent a houseboat on Lake Mead or Lake Powell for a week.

Take a tour of the White House.

Ride a paddle wheeler boat down the Mississippi river.

Visit these cities: Santa Fe, Washington D.C., Seattle, London (again, but for a longer time) Montreal, Liverpool (specifically for a Beatles tour) Miami (for the food and the art deco architecture) San Francisco (again, but for a longer time).

Visit these National Parks: Sequoia, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Monument Valley.

Visit these mountains: Sierra Nevadas, Appalachians, Smokies, Ozarks, Swiss Alps

People who’s hand I would like to shake (but would probably melt in their presence): Alan Rickman, Paul McCartney, Fran Drescher, Michelle Kwan, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Patrick Stewart.

Places I want to eat: the Sky City Restaurant at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle, The Encounter restaurant at LAX, The Lady and Sons Paula Deen’s restaurant in Savannah, Georgia, Johnny Garlic’s Guy Fieri’s restaurant in Santa Rosa, CA, The Moosewood restaurant in Ithaca, NY, The Eiffel Tower restaurant in Las Vegas, The Greens restaurant in San Francisco, The Grand Canyon Lodge, and The Chocolate Tree in Sedona, AZ.

This is the short list by the way : )

I do. I think it’s a great way to keep you doing things. I have crossed a few things off in the last year. I can’t find it, but I read some research once that said if you write goals down, you are much more likely to achieve them. I write all sorts of things down. Even just silly things I want to do. Next on my list is my photography course. I am so looking forward to doing that.
