Morning after pill effects?
Sorry if this is the wrong section to ask this question… How long does the morning after pill typically delay menstruation for? I took one the morning that mine was scheduled to come and there is no sign of it yet. (5 days later.) I’m not concerned that I may be pregnant unless I was secretly taken advantage of without knowing in the previous weeks, Im just curious if the delay is a result of the pill, stress, or some other ailment.

I don’t have the answers but I found a site about the Plan B info method that might be helpful for you.
Good luck, and welcome to Fluther :)
Welcome around.
Part of the solution is in the problem. But the problem could be stress.
Meego gave you a good site for a plan B ^^
Why would you take one if you weren’t concerned about being pregnant?
@perspicacious That’s a good question- let me clarify. I’m not concerned that the incident that caused me to take the pill is causing me not to have menses due to being pregnant because quite frankly it wouldn’t happen that quickly and there’s no other incident that would have caused me to be pregnant. In that sense I’m not worried about being pregnant but I did take the pill for its legitimate purpose- to make sure I stay un-impregnated.
According to the Mayo Clinic, it can delay your period by up to a week. However, if you’re under a lot of stress (like the kind of stress caused by pregnancy scares), that will also make you late.
