NSFW - When you hear or read the word "sex"', what image usually forms in your head?
Just wondering which images form in our heads and whether there are more similarities or differences when we hear or read the word, SEX. I’m guessing the image is mostly sexual in nature of course but then maybe in some people it’s something else totally unrelated to SEX?
There is no pattern and depending on how the word is used, our minds then conjure an image based on the specifics of what we have just heard?

Paper curtains and a busy street.
I lost my virginity in a tall apartment building. Her windows had paper curtains and overlooked the street below. I guess that’s why I think of that.
Heterosex, penis/vagina. That is what first pops into my mind. Usually I imagine it with the people facing each other, but might be lying down, standing up, either on top or bottom. When someone mentions sex Mind never goes to oral sex unless oral sex is specifically mentioned.
Male or female. I know, I’m seriously boring.
A japanese schoolgirl being impregnated by tentacles.
I can’t tell you. Whenever I see or hear a question like this, all I can think of the word in this case “sex” in really big block letters in my mind. I have to train myself to bring up what comes to mind when I hear a question like this. So, I’ll get back to you. Currently, I’m seeing SEX in my head.
A woman in a bra. I was raised Protestant.
When I hear or read the word “sex”, I think of a man and woman entwined missionary-style.
@woodcutter what do you mean “that one”? There are hundreds of tentacle rape movies.

You asked.

Nothing in particular. I mean it could simply mean, Male or female. Its usually the context following the word that will have me thinking or picturing whatever they are talking about. And even then at times I still don’t think of anything. Unless I’m involved by it being an invite from my husband, it really doesn’t bring anything to mind. Its been some time since I was a giddy 13 year old and crazy ideas would come to mind because I was curious and innocent. I’m neither now. I pretty much know how it all works now.
Monica Bellucci moaning and screaming my name at the top of her lungs.
Hey, a guy can dream.
@bob_ I take it you’ve seen her movies. She was hot in Dracula.
@mazingerz88 Wanted to mention that but can’t remember the title. Oh boy, I wanted to be that old hairless douche who brought her some bread that night. Bread! LOL.
My SO and I A black hetero couple going at it doggy style.
The word SEX by itself doesn’t actually get me to form visual images, usually, and if my mind does wander that way, it doesn’t imagine the same sort of thing, necessarily. If you mention two specific or imaginary people having sex, then I might start making up some scene.
What forms in ‘my head’ is an erection.
I picture a generic memory of my Husband and myself in the sack having sex.
Err, me humping the arse off the wife….several times!
I’m a sexual olympian it’s true ;¬}
