If you were a god or goddess of wisdom, what advice would you give to the world today?

Enjoy the moment.

Sleep well.

Don’t worry, be happy!

If I were a god of wisdom, I’d know enough to keep my mouth shut.

But as I am not a god of wisdom, I’m free to keep answering questions here.

Wisdom isn’t so easy and advice is not “one size fits all.” So don’t even try. People will work things out on their own. They will either respect each other or not on their own. The best thing you can is to try to put yourself in the place of others. You can’t do that unless you learn about them. So try being more open to learning about others. Maybe they aren’t so different as you thought.

Take good care of your children, love them unconditionally, teach them manners, respect, and compassion, and teach them to reject all violence.

Take a chill pill.

Be considerate.

@wundayatta isn’t that your “one size fits all answer?” It’s a bit meta, but perhaps that’s what we need.

Eat more fiber, drink plenty of water, get plenty of sleep, and don’t give advice unless asked.

Don’t ask anyone “How you doing?” unless you really, truly want to know. Otherwise just say “Hi”. Disingenuous small talk is inexcusable.

Said in a gradual crescendo: “If you don’t behave yourselves and get along, there’s going to be Hell to pay!

If you’re going to lie, at least put a little effort into it.

I’m sick of hearing dumb lies that dont even make any sense.

Smarten up – time is running out.

An open mind is better than an open mouth.

Tolerance and compromise will go a long way ...so will manners.

Enjoy the simple things while you can ...before you know it, they’ll become complex or non-existent.

Do the right thing. If you can’t figure out what the right thing is, do that which causes the least harm.
