Today I passed my 15 yr. check-up with the oncologist with flying colors. He pronounced me fit, healthy, lookin’ good, and slightly taller than I was last year (thanks to my yoga stretches.)

A happy day.

@gailcalled I am so happy to hear that! I hope you treat yourself to something nice tomorrow. Perhaps a big giant ice cream sundae or movie and I hope someone special will give you a nice foot massage. Everybody deserves a good foot massage every now and then, but especially with this kind of news. That’s so cool that you are actually taller : )

Scene: my friend’s 21st birthday. I was so excited for him and had 5 jello shots too many. About an hour later I was skipping to a bar in flip flops and my ankle rolled over and I fell in my party dress and landed right in front of the bar. I sprained my ankle, broke a piece of bone off, that piece broke into 3 smaller pieces, and tore a ligament. I kept partying and limping for another hour or so then went home. Now I’ve got pins in my foot. And vicodin.

@Bellatrix I dunno how many times my mom told me not to drink too much. Whoops. Learned my lesson!

lol I broke my arm falling out of a mini once (long story) and the doctor would not believe you could do that without being drunk. He asked me about five times, so how much did you drink? I hadn’t had a drop. It was Saturday morning and we were out going shopping.

You have learned your lesson FOR NOW!!! :-)

@Bellatrix oh man, I just told the dr I rolled my ankle and fell and he kept hinting. “sooo you did this last night? Why didn’t you come in this morning? Were you busy?” uhhh, yeah doc. I was busy downing Advil and water and crawling around my friend’s apartment!
