Extremely NSFW: Care to help me with a weird female issue?

If I was the type to be embarrassed about things, this would be one of them…
So I’m sitting here doing schoolwork and whatnot, and for the past hour or so, I’ve been randomly leaking fluids is the best way I can put it. It’s not pee, and it reminds me of what happens when a woman squirts during sex, but I’m not having sex; I’m just sitting here. LOL this is so weird!
Can anyone tell me what’s going on? Should I be concerned? I should mention that this has happened to me before…

Your hot guy joined fluther. What’d you expect?
Happens to me when I’m really turned on. Could it be something as simple as that?
Sometimes if it’s really hot (temperature, guys, temperature) that can happen. Well, to me anyway.
Are you ovulating? One of the signs of ovulation is increased vaginal discharge. Personally, I usually have a day or two around the time of ovulation where there is enough discharge that I can literally feel myself leaking.
I’d go with @bobbinhood ‘s theory first, or, maybe the way you are sitting is stimulating your G-spot.
Otherwise, you’ve sprung a leak, if you start listing on your starboard side, send out a Mayday signal before your Titanic goes down.
@MrFacade is on his way home… bye guys =D
Aha. “Problem” solved.
Also, same for me during ovulation.
Now I just sound like an icky freak. I take it back.
@JilltheTooth Don’t take it back; you totally just made me laugh. Besides, you know what @wundayatta said about insulting his friend. Fear the orange juice. :P
I’d actually welcome the orange juice if it was cold. Otherwise it would just upgrade me from icky to sticky… ;-)
Ahem… one of my students asked me that exact question right in the middle of a lecture on conjugating verbs. I still remember that moment as if it was frozen in time. And, oh, the boys’ faces!
I think it’s a normal part of our female cycles—some women just have more discharge than others and have to wash more undies, that’s all. Maybe use liners?
If it really itches or smells abnormal, ask your gyn to make sure it’s not an infection.
Wait… in the middle of a lecture? How…er…interesting your classes must be! Where can I sign up?
I certainly didn’t answer that. I brightly said something like, “That’s a question for a different time,” and went right back into the lesson, but inside I was doing some weird flip-flops. Let’s just say this young lady had some boundary issues.
I’m with @ANef_is_Enuf. Sometimes it happens to me and I don’t even know I’m turned on.
@Facade If you are interested, here is a really good article about the changes in cervical mucus around the time of ovulation. Also, according to the American Pregnancy Association, you should have your period 12–16 days from when you ovulate.
@linguaphile Maybe use liners? Yep. That’s what I do. It’s either liners or walk around feeling gross and wet. I choose liners.
What age was the class you were teaching?
How do you know it isn’t urine?
This thread answered a question I’ve wondered about since I was a teenager.
Thanks all :)
@bobbinhood Why some girlfriends had wet underwear, even when they weren’t turned on/menstruating etc.
@bobbinhood Juniors and seniors. It’s in the top 5 of my most awkward teaching moments.
