Have you ever misheard a lyric and liked your interpretation better than the actual lyrics?

At about the 30 second mark in this song, the lyrics are “you’re always on, and dressed to impress,” but for a long time I thought he was saying “you’re always undressed to impress” which I thought was really clever.
What’s your example?

“I’ll take all the blame, aqua seafoam shame” always sounded like “I can’t see from shame.”
I don’t know if it is better, but that interpretation never left my head. I know the real lyrics, obviously, but my version is stuck from my teenage years.
I just thought of another one! In OK Go’s “A Million Ways” a line in the chorus goes “you’re a million ways to be cruel” and the first time I heard it, I thought they were saying “there’re a million ways to be cool” which I thought was such a great message. I wish it was that. :(
Not my misinterpretations, but an old roommate’s. He thought “dirty deeds done dirt cheap” was “dirty briefs in the thunder jeep.” He wasn’t kidding, he’d sing it that way with total passion. Thought it was a song about a guy driving around with crapped pants.
He also thought “walking in your footsteps” by The Police was “walking in your foodstamps.” Not quite as funny, but still entertaining.
Not sure why I like it better, but for some reason (makes little sense) I always hear “run” instead of “rot” in Ugly Casanova’s “Parasites”.
the parasites are excited when you’re dead
eyes bulging, entering your head.
and all your thoughts, they rot.
In Queen’s Bo Rap, I always heard the line “Miss Miller, will you let me go.”
Who is she exactly? Why is she holding a person against their will?
I like that thought better than boring old Bismillah.
This is one of my favorite songs.
The chorus has a part that says “blue heart, black eyes” but every time I hear it, I can’t help but hear “blew hard black guys.”
There is the song “Blinded by the Light” that has some lyric that sounds like “a douche in the night” I still have no idea what the real line is. Does anyone?
Wrapped up like a deuce. But yeah, I always say “douche” too.
It’s douche. Don’t be fooled.
In Lady Gaga’s ‘Love Game’ I’d always heard “Don’t think too much, just thrust that dick” when it’s actually “bust that kick”. I was so disappointed when I found out.
My nephew misheard “It’s so funny we just don’t talk anymore” as “Disco Bunny, we just don’t talk anymore”
I think it’s better.
