Have you ever been the asker of the "Question of the Day?"?
Well, have you? Care to share the question(s) if you have?

Yeah right! Like I could get so lucky.XD
Well today is my lucky day and I don’t know if I’ve ever asked another one that’s been the question of the day – maybe, I can’t remember, there should be a way to find out.
@Simone_De_Beauvoir If you click on the answer from Auggie telling you it’s the question of the day it takes you to a facebook page of past winners.
I think it happened twice, but I can’t remember which questions… :P
Nope. Although I imagine not having asked any actual questions in over a year probably hasn’t helped my chances.
Hey! I’ve just thought of a great question. Do you think there can be 2 Question’s of the Day asked in one day? If not I’ll wait until tomorrow and ask:D
Yeah, I asked not to be considered when I hit double figures though, give the underlings a chance ;¬}
Of course, I may have just made that up…...
@Leanne1986 and @AmWiser don’t feel bad, neither have I. :) I am curious, though, as to how the selection is made.
@ANef_is_Enuf Me too! Hopefully our great leader will be along shortly to enlighten us!
I believe Augustlan picks the questions. I’ve never seen more than one in a day.
Not yet, haven’t asked many questions.
If you really want one though I’d just bribe @augustlan.
Not only no, but across the pool of three little questions I’ve asked, I’ve only gotten one GQ. Methinks asking is not my strong suit ;-) I’ll sit back and admire the questions of others.
Yes…a couple times….must have been a real slow day at the tide pool! Lol
No, and I take it as a personal slight.
Never. And I have tried about 300 times. Oh well. I guess I just don’t have that certain something.
Once. It was about attending an Ivy League school or something like that.
Well, lightning only struck me once, a day before my birthday too, so it was kind of a nice surprise. However the earliest one that shows on Facebook for January was on the 18th six whole days after my Question of the day, why am I surprised. :-P Never got close again but I guess better to have gotten one than none at all. I am thinking it was this one, the other questions of that day did not have as much iron behind it and was borderline fluff.
Nope. Do you get free swag if you do? :D
I don’t think so…...I’m not important enough!
Yes, and they posted it on their Facebook account!
There’s no set criteria for picking the QOTD, and I choose them for different reasons. Whether it’s a fantastic question I’d never thought of before, or one that prompts a terrific discussion, one that’s about something that’s in the news at the time, or a timely question (like, “What are your best Thanksgiving leftover recipes?” right around Thanksgiving), they all just seem to jump out and yell “PICK ME, PICK ME! I’m the QOTD!”
Don’t feel bad, those of you who haven’t gotten it yet. It’s all on my shoulders, and sometimes I don’t even see every question asked in a day. I don’t actually post one every day, either… I miss days, usually at least once a week. Occasionally, there are several awesome questions in one day, too, but I can only pick one. :)
If you would all like to get involved, it would be a great help to me if you’d flag the questions you’d choose as the Question of the Day. Just choose the “something else” reason for flagging, and write “QOTD?” as a note. That way, I’d (hopefully) see all the great questions. Thanks!
I never have, which might have something to do with the fact that I rarely ever ask questions.
But you’d think I’d get some perks around here being the manager’s daughter! Hmph!
@mangeons Perhaps your mom can pick your answer as the QOTD. ;-)
After 135 questions, I finally got one , and I am thrilled.
@filmfann and a very good question it was. I’m thrilled for you too!
Cheers \o/ \o/!
