Rather, what's the BEST website for finding cheap flights?
kayak.com!!!
why kayak?
it gets everything except southwest, and i find it's easy to use.
does it grab JetBlue?
it's way easier to use than orbitz or travelocity
yes
wow. sweet. question answered.
nice work Andrew/Ben
this is dope
and you can see the whole range of prices and how they change depending on time and date, etc
let me know what I can do to help
use the site. a lot.
answer people's questions.
is there a discussion forum for the use of rhe site?
and tell us what you don't like so we can fix it.
not as of yet. there's a feedback link
a forum is a great idea though
yeah, we'll add that soon
for example, I wanted to ask "What's the BEST website" but I left out BEST. Can i edit my question?
Have you checked out Farecast.com?
It does predictions on prices of future flights, based on previous data.
have you played the game Deflexion?
it's pretty sweet
That's my gift to LA!
Farecast looks awesome
I'm an expert by the way
Having obtained over 50k miles in half a year.
What's up Graham??! how the hell are you? When are you coming back out west -- we're itching to have another Game Day. But it's not the same without you
Nigel - you should post that as a new question
Ben/Andrew - do you mind if this question (and others) get used as social chatting?
who monitors this?
well, this a problem we've just come across--
what if I'm some random schlub who wants to learn about cheap airfare. I don't want to see the non-sexual love affair with graham and nigel
for now, a new question would be best-- but we're going to figure out a better solution
okay maybe it's an unrequited love affair
like "enter chatty mode" or something
You said you loved me!
Deflexion is now called Khet.
sidestep.com
it's also worth practicing... even when you don't need to go somewhere... test different avenues.. and utlimately, it's usually better to buy tickets on the airline's website and not the search engine's.... cause then you're on the airline's terms and not the search engine's and it's also probably a little cheaper because most charge a 5-10 dollar fee for helping you find the flight.
I agree - Kayak is amazing. It shows you the cheapest options AND presents you with the direct links to book the ticket. It's a good idea to check out Hotwire if it's last minute but there are limitations.
kayak is the bomb
sidestep is good

I want to know how the non-sexual love affair with Graham and Nigel ended.
