I’m talking about the people who snap the cards and hold them out as if they’re expecting you to take them?

You could get all crazy and ignore them and keep walking.
the “porn slappers” are unique to LV… I’ve been there several times and not once have any of them ever gotten in my face, my husbands face or tried to force either of us to take any of the cards. my biggest pet peeve with the whole situation is the people who take the cards and then drop them on the street, contriuting to a growing litter problem in LV
LV’s got more to worry about right now on the strip than those guys, so unless there is a hue and cry from the masses of tourists, they’ll probably never go away. (their numbers have dwindled in the last two visits though)
but to answer your question, you’d complain to Clark County Public Response office

Well you can complain here if you’d like. Or, you know, anywhere else.
If you actually meant “how can I get them in trouble?”, you can’t. They’re not doing anything illegal. You’re under no obligation to take their services, and they’re under no obligation to stop offering their services just because they annoy you.
They are not aggressive. Just ignore them. It’s part of the bizarre carnival atmosphere that makes Las Vegas such a colorful place.
“Bizarre” is an understatement! Heh!
I was just there last week. It was kind of annoying, but I just ignored them and kept walking. If you don’t take it, it doesn’t end up in the garbage or on the ground, and its not litter.
Ignore it. Life is way to short.
You know Las Vegas is also called “Sin City”, right? So… you’re wanting to complain about the “sin”?
“Disneyland for adults?” : D
I’m tempted to tell my masturbating at 16 in a Arbys bathroom story.
edit :: Looks like I already did three years ago.
They never have bothered me when I was on the strip….Maybe it’s because I didn’t give them eye-contact?
A family friend is in the habit of asking telemarketers, “Did you call to accept Jesus as your Savior?” She’s dead serious, but realizes that it’s a pretty effective way to get them to leave her alone.
If that’s too bold for you, you could buy a bunch of tracts to counter-offer them, I suppose.
If anyone who could do something actually cared then they wouldn’t be there. They are so obviously no one does care, you complaining ain’t gonna change that.
I just keep walking and avoid eye contact. If they get into my face, I gesture a ‘brush away’ with my hand. That goes for porn and tract hawkers alike. They expect people to ignore them. No feelings get hurt.
