When does your arm stop hurting after getting an implanon shot?

I got the Implanon birth control shot, or well implant, and its been hurting real bad which i know is normal but I was just wondering if anyone out there who had it put in could tell me how long it took for them to stop hurting and also how long it took them to get use to that dang plastic stick in their arm.

My sister received one, and told me the pain subsided in about 3–4 days. She honestly told me she never really was able to get used to that flexible plastic implant being in her arm the whole time, and eventually she decided to switch to the NuvaRing. Good luck!
