What was the last CD you bought?

It might have been The Art of Drowning by AFI, and this probably happened around 10 years ago.

The Very Best of Nat ‘King’ Cole. It was a birthday gift for a co-worker named Lorraine. We took it into our meeting room that has a stereo system and played the song, Sweet Lorraine. When it was over, she just looked at me and said, “That will be my wedding song.”

I bought The Best of Queen for a buck at a yard sale.

In Between Dreams by Jack Johnson, Sleep Though the Static by Jack Johnson, and Little Hell by City and Colour.

I picked up Broken Bells’ debut album a few days ago ago, and Demon Days by Gorillaz about two weeks ago.

Whoah, long time ago now, maybe a decade or more.
It would more than likely be a greatest hits album from Depeche Mode.

No. 4 EP (New Wet Kojak, 2001), but yeah, I don’t think I’ve bought an actual CD in 10 years now. Pitchfork thinks it’s meh, but I really like it.

Funny you asked, because I just ripped it to my hard drive. It’s among the last of my CDs that I’ve done that with (I had hundreds).

I picked up an old CD of Three Dog Night’s greatest hits, I think.

I bought Sade and Norah Jones at a garage sale.
