Are there some aspects of your life that you don't share with the Fluther community?

And obviously, you’re completely entitled to your privacy. But Fluther’s a very different beast of a social site, where we know more about our fellow users than we would on other sites. But as well as some of us know each other, are there some things about you that you want to make sure we don’t know, or are afraid of sharing?

That I’m afraid to make a typo… I don’t want the whip again.
I don’t share any weakness that I think I have for eg. that I am very insecure and unsure of myself. Also I don’t share the fact that some people on here are really really annoying :P
I do my best to come here on an even-keel. I try not to use this community as a kicking post if I have had a shitty day, so you could say that I attempt to hide my negativity.
The majority of me is not shared here. I’ve met some of you on Facebook. You’ll learn some more about me there.

You all know more about me than my mom does. The only other person who knows more than you all is my husband.
There’s stuff I have not shared and never will. Fluther may be fine and dandy for a lot of things, but not everything. Another time another place, Fluther has been it, might again, other places and people in different dimensions have also been, and may do as such again. Some things I’ll take to the grave with me.
Okay now I regret my comment. It’s not nice to spread something negative in a generally nice/happy place. Ima flag that shiz.

I am very open, but there are things I don’t share. I don’t think it is healthy to share everything with anyone. There are some things even my husband doesn’t know about me or my thoughts. Not a lot I have to say, but there are things I keep to myself.

I guess it’d be polite to answer my own question..I have some things I haven’t shared with Fluther, mostly because there wasn’t a prudent opportunity to share them. But if you have any questions, shoot!

I typically don’t talk about my love life in anything more specific than intentionally vague references.
Everything else is pretty much fair game.

Of course there are things I won’t talk about. But not just on Fluther. I have lots of private memories, but there’s enough to talk about without sharing them.
I don’t really think I hold anything back. If anything, I’m way too open. Sometimes I hate that I can’t go back and delete posts.
@Bellatrix I didn’t mean you either heh. There are just some people here who I think write generally acceptable answers to get lurve and ask abstract questions for the same reason. Those are the people I meant :P But I realize now that it’s everyone’s right to be on Fluther for whatever reasons they wish.

There is so so much I don’t share and would probably never share; and it makes me wonder if that’s why my lurve score is not moving as fast as others.;-)

I have already exposed significantly more about myself than I ever imagined possible. Certainly, any history that I’ve shared or any opinions that I’ve expressed would likely be the same sorts of commentary that I’d provide in talking in real life with an acquaintance.
I don’t reveal much of my professional status, and I tend to shy away from expressing political opinions (broke that rule yesterday).
Like AmWiser, I’ll likely see very slow growth on the lurve curve because I’m not sharing intimate details.
I have no problem talking to the fluther community about anything, but some times some certain questions I ask or answers I give will make me weary of the info getting out in to the real world.
I like my anonymity. I like being mysterious!

I just don’t share if I’m very annoyed with someone on Fluther, or if I really don’t like someone at a particular moment, but I always calm down, I don’t actually know anyone anyway.
I share anything… pretty much anyway. I do have some of my secrets though that I have no intention of sharing with a single soul. Secrets I wouldn’t tell under even the greatest pressure. I intend on going to the grave with them!
I think you guys know everything about me. Some of you even have my home address!
There are some things I’ve shared under another name, though… my kids are here.
I think it’s okay for people to do that. To share things they need to ask under a different name. We do all know a lot about each other and sometimes I think a person may want an answer that isn’t influenced by the relationship we have developed here with others and cannot be connected to us by those who may come across our posts later and be able to see themselves in our questions.
Actually, what @johnpowell said. I’m about 98% open here. Some things are just too embarrassing, others involve crimes perpetrated by wholly different versions of myself long ago, of which I am not certain of their statutes of limitation, so I am not about to post about them on the internetz.
LOL. Yes, but I can’t tell you what they are without sharing them with the fluther community.
