Who would eat a sardine sandwich for breakfast?

I am sorry to say that I had an uncle that loved sardine sandwiches for breakfast. In particular, sardines packed in mustard. How in the world can anyone stomach a sardine sandwich at breakfast, much less any other time of the day? Question: i assume there are those among us that have a quirky appetite for breakfast, lunch and dinner foods. Do you have a family member that likes to eat “oddball” food combinations? Do you care to share?

Yes, I would.The time of day doesn’t matter to me, as far as food goes. I would eat it for dinner or lunch, I would eat it for breakfast. Cold pizza for breakfast is one of the world’s great delicacies.

No, I couldn’t.

Not really an oddball combo, just disgusting. My Dad loves liver and onions. Just the smell of liver frying on the stove makes me want to hurl.

I wouldn’t eat a sardine sandwich, especially not in the morning. But I’ve eaten barbecued ribs for breakfast, and I would do it again in a heartbeat given the chance.

I’d so no to the sardines for any meal; and I’m always good for spicy things at any time of day. Love my breakfast tacos, migas/fajitas, etc. And I’m not shy about loading up the hot salsa on those babies.

Yes! I like them on toasted bread, plain in oil or with the mustard. I like the big fatties more than the skinny ones or the slices. Something yummy about the slightly crunchy bones still in.

YES! I love sardines in oil all over some Saltines. It is a habit I learned from my father.

I would. I grew up on sardines. I just hogged a whole tin down with my fingers.

Just possibly. I like sardines on toast but not so much for breakfast.

I think I would. I much prefer herring, though.

I’ll just share.

I like French fries with marmalade.
I like pickles with marmalade too :)
I can eat corn mush with everything [I can combine them easy]
Spinach with vinegar. This is an acquired taste.

Oh and I prefer uncooked mushrooms over cooked one AND raw meat.

There are some more .. I don’t remember them all.
