Are there any other jellies that only catch the procrastination bug occasionally?
I don’t really do much procrastinating. I like to get things done so that I don’t stress myself out. Every now and then it hits me, though. I’m expecting a houseful of guests in a few hours, and I have barely done anything today. I still need to wash my kitchen floor, do some laundry, get myself dressed, prepare some food… but I’m on Fluther.
Normally I would be running around like an insane person freaking out over the smallest details (i.e: “why is there a washcloth missing from the basket?” or “is that a spot on my baseboard?”) Today I barely have the motivation to pick up a mop.
What’s the deal? Do any of you that are not frequent procrastinators get hit hard once in a while?

I’ll post my complete answer later if you don’t mind. : )
Can’t help you in terms of infrequent procrastination, because me and my entire family are constantly procrastinating. When I feel like I’m getting hit harder than usual with procrastination, there’s actually a good chance that I get up, and get it over with sooner than usual!
It’s almost like I procrastinate so much because I’m not often aware that I am doing it until it’s too late to do anything about it. Once I become conscious of myself doing it, I just want to get it out of the way.
(Sounds like we’re two sides of the same coin @ANef_is_Enuf.)
As opposed to doing it all the time and not accomplishing anything in life lol?
I catch the procrastination bug during finals.
Fluther is a major source of my procrastinating.
I only procrastinate when I have a deadline on a paper or exams or something is due. Not for household chores.
Duh, wots prokrastineight mean den?
I have been told that I do.
I normally get through a lot of stuff but I do have times when I get nothing done and I just can’t make myself get into it. I agree with @sarahhhhh it is often when I have a deadline on a job I really don’t want to do. Then I will procrastinate.
