1mm. Long hair is better.

I go for 2 mm.
I go for 2.3 mm.

I like longer hair, even though it’s a pain. Anything shorter than a page boy turns me off.
What about something like this?
I think the length in photo number 5 is already a good length but I would leave the front long to your collar bone and maybe cut the back short and slightly shaven onto the neck.
I wouldn’t suggest a bob though. It will make your face look round and make you look 8.
I think the picture under Nicoles picture is a pretty cut for you but with the side bangs bit longer and the back as well.
Don’t go short in the summer. Long hair is so much easier. Bed head, no problem, pull it back into a ponytail. Hot outside, no problem, pull it back into a ponytail. If you go short you have to style it every day. Unless you go really really short. I like your hair long, and I think it would also be cute chin length, like a fun bob style. If you stack it a little in the back don’t go too severe, with very short in the back and longer in the front. I hate that when the angle is too much.
@Pandora and everyone else, the thing is I love long hair too but I want to do something new for now,i plan on it growing out long again but for now i want to try something else.
@cliofaye not that you necessarily have to love the exact cut that I posted above, but it really is a shorter version of your current cut. This way you have the liberation of a major haircut, but styling is familiar and growing it out will be relatively simple.
@ANef_is_Enuf I was thinking collarbone short not exactly the length of the posted picture, what do you think?
Sure. I think if you give yourself some shorter (chin length) layers around the face and have your longest layers cut to the collarbone you would have the same effect. Then it is still long enough to pull back on a muggy day, and also saves you from the shock and/or trauma of a dramatic cut.
@ANef_is_Enuf Chin length is usually the length i cut my bangs when i get my hair trimmed,so i agree.
Personally I like the length @ANef_is_Enuf sugessted, but go with it heavier on the bottom. The whispym very texterized cut is going to feel very short and thin, be warned.
I think it looks nice the way it is.
And I agree with @JLeslie about long hair and warm weather. I have waited a long while for my hair to grow out enough to go up, and what a relief it is.
@Jeruba I’ll still be able to pull it back
@cliofaye, only if it’s long enough. So—it sounds like you have already decided how short. Great!
@Jeruba I decided to cut it to my collarbone and have my bangs chin length
If you are used to short hair, get it cut shorter than you usually would. It will grow out in a few days to exactly what you wanted. If you go for what you want now, it will get too long too soon.
@cliofaye In that case, you might want to go “whole hog” and get it cut very short. Remember, hair always grow out.
I am 68 years old, and I have been forced to get used to hair that has a mind of its own.
Your fair looks wonderful, just have the ends trimmed and the cut shaped.
I’m totally not stalking your facebook right now.
Your hair looks great, and you’re really pretty. :D:D:D
I can’t see the picture, because it says I have to log in to facebook, and I’m the last person on earth that doesn’t have a facebook account.
