What is so amazing about Ray William Johnson?

Asked by Jellie (6492points) August 4th, 2011

This is in no a way a hate question and nor am I in any way, shape or form saying that one should not watch his videos.

Everytime I open Youtube his videos are on the most viewed and typically have 2million views within the first day of uploading. Now I understand he’s a charismatic guy but what is so special that all his videos have over 2million views?

I have never been tempted to watch a video just curious and only recently I did watch one and only watched it half way.

I’m just curious to know what his fans like/notice that I am missing.

I think youtube is mostly teens and young adults, and the internet-video-review-shows are popular now (web soup, Tosh.0 etc). Phillip De Franco is popular for the same reason.

He shows viral videos, usually three at a time. If you like to keep an eye on all the latest viral videos but don’t want to have to hunt them down or wait for someone to share them with you, subscribe to his channel and you get some each week.

Also, he puts a lot of work in to his videos. He speaks clearly, his videos are edited and put together ok, and he does all the extra bits of work too, like running a twitter, a facebook, a google+ and a blog, and uses them all to pull people to his channel.

K, this is in “social” (maybe someone should remind the mod that blew two of the answers away?):

What is so amazing about Ray William Johnson?

1. Ray William Johnson is in possession of the vaccine for typhoid and malaria. He invented diptheria. He is a super-villain.

2. Ray William Johnson is, actually, a decepticon.

“moderate” away.
