I’m trying to make a choice for which one I should continue for chronic long term pain.

Your physician should be making that choice based on ALL the factors with which you present. There are many drug choices for long term chronic pain (I too suffer) besides the two you listed.
These are the one’s I’m currently taking.
I know, this topic was discussed exhaustively here when you asked essentially the same question. There are more drugs besides the two you are taking and if these aren’t working, it is your doctor’s decision to take you off both and try something different or to increase the doses of one or the other.
I agree with @Kayak8 . This is not something we can advise you on.
