After some of the founding engineers of Fluther moved to Twitter this past December, will Fluther ever see any major updates?
After the acquisition of four engineers and a designer from Fluther by Twitter last December, are we going to see any improvements within this website? Perhaps an addition of new awards, more options for questions, integration of emoticons, an iPhone or Droid app, more profile customization, etc.
What are your thoughts?

In time I believe there will be changes and updates as there have been in the past. Will they be an improvement? That remains to be seen. There are enough posts/threads with idea’s for change that I think eventually change will happen.
It would be nice. Some very useful suggestions have been floating about for literally years now.
There was an iPhone app in the past that was pretty bad from what I heard about it. Most people use the http://i.fluther.com on their phone browsers.
I agree it would be nice to have them around more.
They said they still work on it in their “spare” time. It is possible changes will occur, but they will take a long time, unless someone wants to manage the place and hire new tech staff.
I hope for some. But since most of them do not have enough free time it’s unlikely it will happen.
Keep hope alive guys :)
It works. It was a good time to freeze things. At least people aren’t adding shit that clutters things up to justify them having a job.
Suddenly, answerbag, answerbag everywhere.
There have actually been improvements since then. Though it’s relatively minor, it was something people had wanted for years. That ‘Mark all read’ button on the ‘activity for you’ page was designed and implemented after the Twitter deal. Awards (most of them, anyway) and problems with our feedback email were fixed after that, too.
As for future fixes and improvements, I’m positive there will be some. At what rate, I don’t know. Stay tuned!
Just think, this is what Fluther used to look like, back in the day. I’d say we’ve improved a lot and found our happy place. There are improvements that could be made, but no massive overhauls would be necessary, hopefully.
People dedicated to the site are working to make some of that happen. I’d totally say no, but there have been a few things. That’s always good.
As far as I’m concerned, as long as it stays up, I’ll be happy.

It always comes down to that doesn’t it. ;^)
