Fluther automatically adds the question mark – it should have been: define waste. As in, how do you define waste?
Either the term itself, or waste in general.
What do you consider wasteful, besides the proverbial mind.
That’s the second time today I’ve used the term proverbial – I wonder what that means. I am going to check out Proverbs just in case it’s a sign from above.

Here’s how Shakespeare used it:
The expense of spirit in a waste of shame
Is lust in action; and till action, lust
Is perjured, murderous, bloody, full of blame,
Savage, extreme, rude, cruel, not to trust,
Enjoy’d no sooner but despised straight,
Past reason hunted, and no sooner had
Past reason hated, as a swallow’d bait
On purpose laid to make the taker mad;
Mad in pursuit and in possession so;
Had, having, and in quest to have, extreme;
A bliss in proof, and proved, a very woe;
Before, a joy proposed; behind, a dream.
All this the world well knows; yet none knows well
To shun the heaven that leads men to this hell.
Always nice to have a little Bard in the yard.
Waste has to be defined relative to the producer of it. Oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis.
Waste is a thing of no use to a particular person only. For example pillow is waste for a cardiac patient whereas it is useful to others. Waste paper from an office can be used as a packing material in other office.
