DVR- Is it possible to make a continuous backup without the use of a client?

Hello,

I have a DVR/standalone called PHEONIX. The clients provided do not allow live recording of more than one video at the same time (on another computer in the same network). I would like to know if there is an alternative to backing up my DVR’s HD without a client?

I was thinking, maybe, by connecting to my DVR’s HD through a network and using a file synchronizer to back it up?

Maybe there is a software out there that can do something similar and I am not aware of?
