What is your favorite piece of Tupperware?
There is a lot of Tupperware. I like it better than the junky stuff. I remember Tupperware from my childhood as well, and just the sight of it creates a peculiar nostalgia. The deep colors, and the condensation that forms on the containers is particularly vivid.
Maybe I was held captive at a Tupperware brainwashing session as a tot???

The square one, with the lid. I can put all kinds of stuff in it. And get this: it doesn’t even fall out when I turn it upside down! Can you say “Two birds with one stone”!
I used to put my cookies in this.
The lid design was what I liked.
The one with home made chicken soup in it! Yum!
I would like to invent something and slap my name on it and people would love it and I will attain a kind of immortality.
RIP Earl Silas Tupper!
@rebbel I remember those lids. They were a horror to clean.
@tranquilsea Yeah, I remember my then-girlfriend complaining about that :-)
The one I keep full of sweet tea in the fridge.
I don’t have any of the real Tupperware from back in the day, but one of my favorite things of all time were the pastel colored plastic tumblers with the lids on them like these (although the ones in the picture are missing their lids).
I also loved the salt and pepper shakers
And the iceberg lettuce bowl
I actually enjoyed that slightly weird plastic-ey smell that the old Tupperware had, even though it’s probably already caused me to start developing cancer.
My best friend’s mom also had one of the bigger rectangular Tupperware lidded containers into which she always put Congo Bars
The pint and quart containers. They have interchangeable lids, which is great.
The honey dipper. Weird looking hive shaped spoon. Excellent for dipping honey.
I love my hamburger press I have had it since I got my first apartment and it makes making hamburger patties really uniform and nice with out much effort.
I liked the one that you could carry cakes in from the late 70s, with the bendy handle that you attached after the cake was sealed away. This is the square one.
Tupperware’s long, long lasting TOY
I always loved the orange peeler, but I lost mine. Luckily, I have some spoon tips that are similar enough to that shape, I can still peel my oranges.
