If you have the gift as a psychic that hears or sees dead people, can you handle it?

I don’t have that gift. If it exists, and if dead people are anything but dead after being dead.

However, I don’t imagine it would actually be all that bad to see or hear dead peeps. Sure it may look a little nasty, but they’re probably just really bored and lonely. They’d appreciate your company, and think of the shit that centuries old dead people could teach you.

I’m not nearly as concerned with seeing dead people as I am with them being able to see me.

Would probably not be able too. I agree with @RealEyesRealizeRealLies. There are times I would really like to be alone and having dead people all around would be annoying. Especially in the shower or when I’m having a romantic evening. That would piss me off.

I don’t have that ability either. The only person I’ve met who claims to have been haunted all of her life said that she did not care for it and wished it would end. Since they were not physically harming her, she just learned to deal with it, as did her family.

I know someone who says she sees ghosts/dead people. She’s used to it and doesn’t react at all- it’s just part of her life.

I don’t think I’d be able to handle living with that. Question is – can THEY handle seeing us live folk????

I’ve got that gift… I see and work with dead people every day. I’ve even tried to talk to them, but they’re dead, dead thick.

My maternal grandmother would describe the dead people in the room to my dad , her son in law. I was not told by him how she felt about it or how she acted but he didn’t tell me until I was 37. He appeared to believe her. Oh how I wish I had asked more questions. I’ve SMELLED so-called dead people twice, once with a witness and they smelled like flowers. But just twice. It’s a fantastic experience!! I loved it.
