Which scene from The Hunger Games should I remake into a 'graphic novel'?
I had an assignment to read The Hunger Games this summer and then do a quote presentation and an artifact. The artifact could be a new book cover, an important quotation with an illustration, a graphic novel remake of a scene, or an illustration of a scene.
I want to do a graphic novel or an illustration of a scene (depending on how complex the scene is). Which scene should I illustrate?
For my quotation presentation I either want to subtly compare the mockingjay from The Hunger Games to the mockingbird from To Kill A Mocking Bird OR About how Peeta and Katniss tried to show the Capitol doesn’t own them and they’re not just pieces in their game.

I think you should do the berry part! When Katniss threatens the Gamemakers with her and Peeta’s life to keep him alive. Or maybe the part when Peeta admits that he loves Katniss.
I also love the scene when Katniss gives Rue that sort of funeral and sings Rue’s lullaby. I cried during that part because I loved Rue.
The attack of the mutts at the end.
The island would be cool. To show the clock part of it. I’d like to see it drawn out
Oh whoops. That’s not in the first book.
@redfeather is the hunger games show part of the second and third book? Or is it Katniss’ life continued on from the hunger games?
@comicalmayhem the clock on the island is part of the second book Catching Fire. @redfeather the clock would be really cool in graphic novel form.
@comicalmayhem That is very nice, I loved that scene. Although, even though this is not important at all, just an observation, weren’t the players wearing uniforms? Also, have you read the other two books? If you liked the Hunger Games you definitely should, except Mocking Jay sort of dragged on. I find I liked the books best when the characters were actually in the Games.
@desiree333 I just finished Catching Fire. Now I’m waiting to get my hands on Mockingjay.
