How is your setting at the moment?

Very humid, mid-afternoon, warm, gingerbread baking (as per Jelly suggestions on my “smelly” thread) life is good.

Flying a desk here at work and it is a beautiful day and have the windows wide open. Gonna go for a bike ride after work in 2 short hours.

12:20 pm and 64 degrees Fahrenheit. Clear blue skies. I have my door open and a fan running. The cat* that started hanging out in my room is sleeping on my pillow.

I’m drinking Newmans Own Lemonade with a splash of vodka and doing a back-up of a wordpress site before I start working on it.

*The cat isn’t mine. It just started hanging out with me during the day. I’m not sure who owns it. It is well fed and clean so I am pretty sure a neighbor owns it.

Mid afternoon,sunny,breezy and warm.The boat is clean,I’ve got my bathing suit on and I’m gone! :)

Well, it’s 3: 30 pm, I’m at work. Just had to sit through another insufferable meeting with pharmaceutical reps. Barf.

It is night. I got injections on my arms so it hurts. I am watching weird movies as I listen to bugs moan. I can’t even see the floor because the room is so dirty.

Late afternoon. I’ll be going home in a couple of hours. I just sat through a dissertation defense, so I’m eating a late lunch: sausage parmesan grinder. It’s turning sunny, which kind of pisses me off because I could have ridden my bike to work. All the rain happened during work.

They’ve knocked off work at the big construction project across the street. It’s been a lot of fun watching it go up. Make work for scoops. It’s a green project and has an interesting rainwater recovery system.

It is 2:35 pm and I am perched on my couch watching Showtime on my big ol’ TV. I have been sick so I called in today.

My window shades are closed because the sun is shining in, but the windows are open (It’s in the low 80s here.).

I am thinking about getting a snack (helped along by the scene that you set) @rebbel.

A rumble of thunder just occurred. That means that I’ll probably have to give my dog Rescue Remedy so he can make it through the coming storm without shaking to pieces.

Well, it’s mid afternoon here in the central Texas.

The weather is pretty much the same has it has been for weeks. Sunny, highs of around 106, lows in the 80s and no rain in sight.

To @ll, thank you for your answers…, I really like to picture, however small it is, of how fellow Jellies are sitting at this moment!

I’m sitting on the edge of my futon, still in a post-shower nude state. I have a pillow on my lap to keep my laptop from scorching my junk, and the sun is high and hazy in the sky. I’m surrounded by the accumulated detritus of 15 or so years of antique and book collecting, and I’m eager to go get my hair cut.

It’s 9:10pm here in england town, proper dark now. A warm but not overbearing night, my dawg is lay at my feet sleeping. The wife & kids are playing on the Wii, I may join them soon for a spot of pwnage.

I’m on my couch in the family room with my cat on the cushion next to me. It’s mid-afternoon and the back door is open. There’s a fine mist of rain coming down and lots of late summer bug noises. It’s really gray outside, but it’s still nice in its own way.

Early afternoon. About 90F. Sound of the air conditioner. Nappy time.

Early evening, but still light out. Very cloudy, humid but actually not too hot.
Roomate talking to friends in her room, one kitty messing around in my room. No music. Getting ready for a shower, just having my smokes and coffee. Then Imma go dig up some graves.

I’m in a hotel room in northeastern PA drinking a beer and eating jalapeno potato chips. My boyfriend and I are watching Law & Order (not really though) and just completed our job training for the work we’ll be doing for the next month – 2 months. Comfortable temperature. My feet are cold because my shoes were wet all day. It’s been raining hard out for 3 days straight. About to go smoke a j in the cemetary beside the hotel….then hang out with some new job friends. Yeah!!!!!!

Early evening, still sunny and breezy outside. It’s about 76 degrees but the humidity isn’t too bad, therefore it doesn’t feel too hot and disgusting. I’m sitting on the couch, the black kitty is next to me, the husband is next to him. We just finished watching an episode of “Azu Manga Daioh,” which is mildly amusing. Though I’m really getting tired of watching anime every day. As comfortable as this is, I need to get the sheets out of the dryer, make the bed and take a shower. Then, maybe some wine…

It’s near 4pm here, hot, muggy, little breeze and Monday so all the teams are cranky, fidgety and under the gun from their managers to put numbers on the board to start the week. I’m fielding calls from frustrated and angry people who don’t understand why our store would be closed 1 day a week, denying them immediate service.

By the way, the wine is a yes. And it sounds like @Neizvestnaya might need to join me!

P.S. It’s now almost 8 pm, I’m still at work, working overtime so that I can sneak to an HR orientation at my school on Friday. The cleaning people are now here, I am freezing, doing data entry.

It’s dark, in my bedroom.
The laptop went with me for the first time ever.

It’s 9pm. Just finished watching Master Chef and getting ready to watch an Irish gangster movie (can’t remember the name) with my husband. Windows are open, it’s a beautiful 65F outside and many crickets are chirping.

Now it’s night time. Kinda cool out, I appreciate that. Listening to Geto Gama reviews on AssTube. Roomate watching movies. I’m gettin me ass drunk. Gonna make a chair outta bones pretty soon.

It’s twilight, but the house has retained the heat of the day.

It’s night here (10:30pm) and as far as I can guess, disgustingly humid.
I spent the weekend outdoors and I’m never going back, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Inside? The air conditioning is on to my mother’s preference so it’s a bit chillier than I’d probably have it. It’s dark in the living room where I am, but the kitchen is attached to this room and those lights are on. My cat is sleeping on the monitor, and my coffee is next to me getting cold.
