Does my iPhoneMobile Chat app count as text messages?

what do you mean by iPhoneMobile Chat app? like the thing that says SMS or is it jailbroken? If it’s jailbroken then it send that stuff over the EDGE networking or Wi-Fi.

iPhoneMobile Chat is an IM application for jailbroken phones. It does not count as SMS messages as it connects to one of the IM networks over a data connection.
