Have you ever been misguided by a good review?

I had been looking forward to the release of an artists new CD for a while. I read the reviews on Amazon. High accolade indeed, 5 out of 5. However on hearing the CD, although it is very good it’s not 5 out of 5. Has anyone else brought something on the strength of the reviews and been disappointed?
