Do you know of any tips that professional cleaning people use to clean a house efficiently and thoroughly?

I am wondering what tips and methods professional cleaning people use to clean a house efficiently and thoroughly.
I had heard that professional franchises like Merry Maids do not use water, they just use chemicals, because it’s inefficient to go back and forth to the tub or sink to wash and rinse. I think that’s gross. I am looking for something more practical.
What rooms are best to start with? How do they do the job in the least amount of time, yet do an adequate job? Do you know?

They carry an array of cleaning products with them (in a bucket or on a cart) as they move from room to room.
My aunt cleans houses and she popped holes in the tops of gatorade bottles to put her cleaning products in. She squirts out what she needs instead of spraying, or opening bottles. She designed a cap and wrote a letter to some company and a few months later, saw her cap design in a store and got super pissed. But hey, it works.
You don’t want to know the true answer to this question. The only way most pros make money is to cut corners anyway they can and my ex worked as one and would get yelled at for doing a good job as that took up too much time.
They are efficient in how they move from place to place. They never go over the same area twice.
If making a bed they don’t move from side to side over and over, but plan to move from one top corner, around the bottom, to the other top corner, and then back all the way and done.
Start from the top first…it really sucks when you’ve just finished cleaning the floor and you realize you still have to dust….
You start on one side, closest to the door, and work your way around the room until you get to the other side, do the beds, then vacuum
Try this room by room cleaning guide.
I’ve noticed that the maids at my parents’ house (sadly, I’m my own maid) go top to bottom as well. They also have a rather handy looking vac that is a backpack of sorts. It’s light yet quite powerful. They dust with a wet cloth to avoid spreading dust everywhere. They don’t waste time sweeping since they have the vac. Also, they wear their cleaning supplies on a belt thing similar to a tool belt. I believe they also try to keep the cleaners to a minimum by using ones that are designed for multiple surfaces.
A really good vacuum with good attachments will work as a duster, a sweeper, and a vacuum.
Instead of buckets, use sinks for moping. Fill one sink with soapy water, and the other with clean. Let water drain when finished. Use water to clean sink as well.
Multi-task as much as possible. Example: put toilet bowl cleaner in toilets and do 15 minutes of cleaning while the toilet bowl cleaner does it’s thing. Wipe down counters while filling sinks… etc,
