Cigar people, any advice on what to get?

I’ve been an “amateur” cigar smoker for several years and my g/f just bought me a humidor for my birthday. Looking for a few suggestions on some cigars to try. I’ve had probably 20 different types of cigars but between a negligence of remembering names and just plain not liking many, I’ve only got a few specific cigars I know I like to put in this thing.
My long time favorite is the Acid 1400 CC, and I’ve found I like the CAO MX2’s as well. I’ve always been fond of clove stuff as well (I still order the old style Djarum blacks from Indonesia). I don’t mind a good classic flavor cigar either though.
Any suggestions for what to put in this thing?
(Also on a side note, any suggestions for keeping the humidity level would be appreciated, I can’t seem to get the thing above 60%... think I’m going to check the hygrometer calibration)

Montecristo No3 have always been a personal favourite.
This one, when I can afford them.
I think Dominican and Honduran rival Cuban cigars for flavor. Purofino Dom has an aroma I just love. It’s sexier than any cologne. The Dominican Romeo y Julieta is really nice too.
I usually recommend Arturo Fuente 858’s. They are a medium bodied very tasty smoke. If you are short on time, An Arturo Fuente Short Story is very much the same. Short on cash, CI sells Consuegra Cigars. Dominican made and very tasty when they get some age on them. If you can get Consuegra #9’s snap them up. They are very popular and they go out of stock very quickly. These are all medium bodied cigars so you can decide if you like a heavier or milder smoke. A good tobacconist will then have an Idea of where to steer you once he knows how you like these ‘yardstick’ cigars.
I don’t like to order from Thompson, they automatically signed me up for a ‘free’ points program that cost me $12.95 a month the last time I ordered from them. I use Cigars International now.
Otherwise @stratman37 has some good points.
Appreciate all the advice guys. I bought a pretty good mix of cigars to try out over the next few months. On top of the mix of Acid brands that my g/f bought me, I got a Brick House, a Cohiba, a Romeo y Julieta, Oliva V series, Artues Fuentes (spelling?), and a few others I forget at the moment… As well as loading up on the one I know I love, the 1400cc by Acid. We’ll see how the next few go :)
