Are you just a ghost in denial? Do you ever get that feeling?

Can’t say I do. I think therefore I am.

Nah, there are too many people who see me. The weirdest thing I’ve ever wondered about is if I might be Jesus of Nazareth in the second coming of Christ. Don’t ask why…I don’t recall, only that it lasted for a week or two.

Well, sometimes I begin to think too deeply, and I get this feeling that all I think I am is just a construct.

One theory I had when I was a child was that the whole world is just an elaborate dollhouse for some super-intelligent giant children, and we are all just their toys. (I was a strange child.)

The nearest thing I could say with some relation to this question is I sometimes wonder if people die each night we sleep and lose our consciousness to the void. Sometimes we wake up when we last left and sometimes much earlier in order to have a chance to do things differently. That’s what I think every time I have a deja vu moment. Each time, I can always predict what’s going to happen in the next two seconds. Sometimes a deja vu would be a third or fourth repeat of the same moment.

It is a feeling that no logic can dispel. Flesh is not much more substantial than mist and when we disappear we leave little trace. We and the world are made of dreams and shadows but nothing more real can be imagined.

I may be in denial about something, but I’m not telling here.~

@Pied_Pfeffer, did you do anything… unusual… during those couple of weeks? :)

@dappled_leaves Nah, I just worried that I might be clueless about the expectations if it was true. I wasn’t a very good Christian. There was also the time when I thought my mother might be poisoning me and watched her like a hawk when she prepared meals. Again, no recollection what caused this thought. Maybe too much television and a wild imagination at a young age.

If I am, I must be a poltergeist.
