If there were any food or beverage you could have faxed or emailed to you, from anywhere in the world, right now, what would it be and from where?

Anything, instantly from Chicago or India or Italy or New Mexico or New York or Paris or Philly or Nova Scotia or Ireland or Thailand or anywhere; sorry if I’ve left a whole lot of you out, what would it be?

Right now? I could do with some Moonshine that a friend of mine on the East Coast brews. I need to get wasted, and fast.

Yeah, I meant right now. What do you crave that makes you sorry foods and beverages can’t be faxed or emailed. Two of my great uncles were West Virginia moonshiners. I never got sample their wares but I do have my uncle Ona’s recipe for grape juice wine, stronger than you might think, and it is a part of my heritage.

I’m pretty simple. I’ll take some deep-fried Wisconsin cheese curds, thank you.

Maybe some fresh San Fran sourdough to go along with it.

Eggplant parmesian with pasta (no sauce on the pasta please) on the side from Fresh Basil’s on Lexington and 56th in NYC.

I would like, at the very least, my friends Laura and Diane, a plate of artery clogging cheese fries, a pitcher of Shiner Bock and a picnic table on the patio faxed to me from the Crown and Anchor, in Austin, TX, right now, if you don’t mind, thank you!

Oh, and mounds cake from Too Jay’s in FL. Thanks.

@JLeslie I get that someone might make the best eggplant parmesian you ever had, but what exactly is a “mounds cake” from Too Jay’s in Fl.? And am I going to have to make sure that it’s served at your 40K party along with a case of Mexican Coke?

@lillycoyote Like the candy bar. Chocolate and coconut. It is fantastic, and yes please bring it to the party. They don’t ship, believe me I have asked. I have carried those cakes home with me on a plane. So, you will have to take a trip to FL to bring me one. Not to worry they are in several locations, you can extend your trip to also include Disney or the Boca Raton Beach Resort. Call ahead, they don’t always have one in the restaurant. Sometimes they tell me they no longer carry it, and then I come back and there it is again. I can’t figure it out.

@JLeslie Well, thank goodness I have about a 9000 lurve buffer to work your mounds cake into one of my my future trips to Disneyworld or Boca Raton.

Souvlaki from a street vendor in Athens, Greece. (a sandwich in thick flat bread with lamb, a red sauce and thick yogurt.) But don’t have them send it until tomorrow, I’m still stuffed from supper.

I miss Tasty Kakes, Lebanon Bologna, and Utz’s or Snyder’s Pretzels. Also American hot dogs, what they call hotdogs here, I think are made of toxic waste. I would also order American bacon because all I have had since I arrived here is something that looks like what I called Canadian bacon.

I can’t think of anything else at the moment.

If you want my address so you can mail these things to me, just let me know, hehehe!!!
