Would you still love the same people. animals included Would the same people still love you? Think about it for a while. Some people say they love you, but they don’t act like they do. Some husbands/wives are abusive, but the relationship stays going for a while because you love each other. How would all that change if love was a verb instead of a feeling?

Love is a verb… you have used it as a verb several times in your question.
Of course, we see in marriage when the feel goods simmer down, its time to go deeper in the heart of true love for the person and what you are creating together, that richer love filled with love as a verb enriches the union and true love expands. Love as an action word would put more divorce lawyers in ordinary income brackets.
Love is a noun (feeling) and a verb (action).
“Love is a many splendored thing.” or “Love is forever.”—love is a noun in these sentences.
“I love my kids to the moon and back.” or “Do you love me?”—is a verb in these sentences.
Well, “Need is all you love” didn’t quite sound right… ;-)
