Google Calendar synced with my smartphone and iPad.
My life is pretty simple, by choice, and I am not one that has to be on the cutting edge of technology. I use a paper calender hanging on the inside of my kitchen pantry to make note of appts. and events. I also don’t have anyone in my phone book on my phones, or on speed dial.
I remember the significant numbers of those I call and who needs speed dial, sheesh…isn’t taking 6 seconds to dial a number speedy enough for you? lol
Day planner and calendar. I have to keep it in an obvious place so I see it every day. My husband uses his phone calendar thingie.
Both.
The computer version is great for the day to day office stuff. However, nothing beats a good old fashioned paper calendar hanging in the kitchen to remember bigger all day events and things like birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays.
MobileMe-Sync with iCal and iDisk… I work in renting Apartments… and do not use any paper…
I just switched to my cell phone calendar. We’ll see how it goes.
A combination of on the wall calendar, cell phone calendar and google calendar (I actually started using google calendar 2 weeks ago only).
I use a little diary that I keep in my bag at all times. I have used a diary like this for years and for at least the last five years it has been tradition for my dad to buy my diary for the following year as a Christmas present from the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. I feel really bad when other people buy me little diaries (it’s a common gift for me as everyone knows that I use one) because they never get used and I am always pleased to see that my dad didn’t forget my Opera House diary each year!
I don’t know where I would be without my diary. I have tried to use my iPhone for all my engagements but it just doesn’t feel official unless I have written it in my diary.
I still use a paper and pen planner. I actually made a make-shift planner the other day out of a notebook because the semester caught me off guard and poor.
A wall calendar is most convenient for our family. It hangs right next to the pantry and everyone in the family can write down what events they have coming up.
I use a moleskin. Paper and pen never crashes. I use it for appointments and finances and doodles of pretty girls on the bus.
I use the calendar in my work email client which I frustratingly cannot synch with my Smartphone.
Google calendar, synced with smartphone, and has email alerts of my schedule every day. I technically have a wall calendar, but it’s really more for the cheap rotating wall art than anything else.
Technology and I are not on speaking terms. Paper calendars never stop functioning, don’t disappear from the computer, don’t have any problems due to power outages, crashed hard drives or networks being down. Plus, you don’t have to figure out how they work.
Just a paper calendar hanging in the kitchen. Actually, it’s calendar pages I printed out from the computer, not even a pretty calendar with pictures or anything. I’ll probably start using Google Calendar plus my phone sometime in the near future, now that the kids are getting older and involved in more activities.
I use a paper calendar hanging on the refrigerator, and also a paper calendar hanging in my cubicle at work. I put dinner plans with friends, doctor appointments, parties, festivals – all “at a glance” so when I am making plans I can tell quickly if I am free or not. I like to use the paper calendar because it’s very quick to see the day or the week or the month at a glance without having to click and load.
