What are your favorite cool older cars that can be had for less than 10k these days?
There are a lot of cool older cars out there that you can find fairly cheaply and still run. Can you think of any that look like they’re from a future that will never happen, or classics that run well but are affordable? Do you have any suggestions for cars that are really catchy for one reason or another?

Mustangs for me baby. Got a 1966 V8 coupe for 5k
1970’s Porsche if you don’t mind tinkering a bit.
@Lightlyseared You took my answer. Even some in the 80’s, especially the 944 and 928. I like the old 914’s also. 911 off course is a given, but likely to be more expensive.
@JLeslie Yeah I couldn’t find a 911 for less than £10k but I did find a couple of late 60’s 912’s in pretty good nick. I also found a DB5 for 20K but it was in japan so no being JB for me
Another vote for a Porche. My BIL bought one on eBay for a very cheap price and drove it back to Va. from Texas. It is probably from the ‘60s.
He’s also purchased a couple of Triumph TR3s His sons love it when they can take them out for a spin.
I am really fond of the 79’ Mazda RX-7.
It sported a rotary engine and was a fun car to drive. I still have mine (and have been threatening to do a full restoration for over a decade now…)
@Lightlyseared Oh, you can get a 1970’s 911 for less than $10k. You can find some on ebay. Doing work on a Porsche can add up though, and usualy they need a little work. Well, we always have to do work on them when we buy one, because husband races them on the track, so they have to pass inspection. All of his have cost over $20k, but I know there are less expenisve ones out there.
I love the old Nash Metropolitans…but, I’d want a perfectly restored one. :-D
An original, Belfast made, DMC-12. OK… so even when the thing had just rolled off the production line it would proabably have needed a total refit before it was driveable so god knows what 30 years has done for it but lets face what other car can you pretend to take upto 88mph and go back in time.
