Have you ever seen a mannequin that looked like you, or someone you know?

I’ve seen plenty of bald mannequins, and they look like me and other bald men I know, especially a certain one I met recently…

This is going to sound soooo showing offy, but yes, there is this handsome model that I think I look pretty much like.

I used to be a mannequin. It was when I was 15 and I was in some modeling class that my Mom put me in. As part of the deal, every Sunday pairs of us would take turns standing in the place of real mannequins at Montgomery Ward. We’d stand in one pose for 15 minutes and not move. I was really good. Freaked more than one person out…after they’d feel the clothes, step back for another look and…“SHIT!! THE MANNEQUIN’S LOOKING AT ME!!!” Then I’d look away so that when the person they were with looked at me tp see what the other person was freaking out about, I just looked like the mannequin that I was, staring off through the store! Then, when they left, the first person would keep looking back and I’d wink at her! It was fun.

Coincidentally, it looked exactly like me!

I’ve never seen that…they all seem to look so…vacant eyed undead, that seeing one that looked like a person I know, or myself, would be creepy.

If you ever see a headless mannequin dancing around in an alley at night though, that’s a lot closer to what I’m like. ^^
