What would make a great computer internet homepage?

For years I have been using Yahoo as my internet homepage. My eyes are attracted to its seemingly light and easy to the eye qualities. What do you have and any recommendation that I may want to check out-? Thanks!

I use Google. Plain old Google, without any of the portal elements available through iGoogle. I like the clean interface, and it can get me anywhere else I need to go.
