I have a Latin project to do. Any advice?

Asked by blueberry_kid (5957points) August 26th, 2011

For my Latin class, our project is to do a bibliography and paper and project and fancy-shmancy stuff. But, for the absolute huge portion of the project that we have to present, we get to choose what we can do. I asked to do a powerpoint and my teacher said no to that because there were issues in the past.

Any suggestions?

Well, thanks. But, my subject was Julia, Julis Caesar’s daughter. What I’m asking is, what should I do as the prestentation? (Hint: powerpoint is a no.)

I know nothing about Julia, but if she was a young lady, she could have a party. You could do the invitations, the food, decorations, dress, and a reporter’s “column” about the party.

You could perhaps lead a class discussion on the position of women in ancient Rome, or Roman imperialism, with handouts printed out for everybody.

Or just sit everybody down and put on an episode of HBO’s Rome. Who wouldn’t love that?
